Ditters Returns to Adelaide Arcade – A Delicious Homecoming

We’re thrilled to welcome Ditters – one of South Australia’s most iconic and beloved food brands – back to the heart of the city with the opening of their brand new store in Shop 22, Adelaide Arcade.

This homecoming is a special one. Ditters has returned to the very same shop they occupied 40 years ago, bringing with them their famous roasted nuts, dried and glacé fruits, and their legendary Ditters Gourmet Cake. Founded in 1918, this family-run business has been delighting generations with its premium, handcrafted treats.

Made possible through a partnership with Renew Adelaide, the new store combines rich history with fresh energy. You’ll find beautifully packaged gift boxes (featuring illustrations by co-owner Esther Johnson), a lovingly recreated story of the brand’s origins, and even a commissioned portrait of founder Otto Ditter, created by local artist Marisha Matthews.
