Adelaide book purveyors Kate Treloar and Nick Patrick offer an ever-changing selection of recommended reads for the discerning reader. Orchard showcases a mix of vintage, new and collectible books; key areas include literature, cult classics, art, cookery, philosophy and children’s books.

Local published authors, this is your chance to showcase your book to the very people who curate Orchard Bookshop’s collection! Don’t miss this unique opportunity.

WHEN: 1st Saturday of the month, 10 am – 2 pm
WHERE: Orchard Bookshop (26 Adelaide Arcade)
WHO: Published authors (not self-published*)
WHY: As bookshop owners, Kate and Nick want to hear about and support local gems
WHAT TO DO: Bring your book (or two books, no more) in-store on the 1st Saturday of the month, along with:
– an “elevator pitch” (BRIEFLY what it is about & why it is awesome)
– pricing and distribution details
WHAT TO EXPECT: You have the opportunity to spruik your book to the people who select Orchard Bookshop’s stock (please understand, however, this does not form a commitment on the part of Orchard to stock your book).
