Adelaide Arcade Retailer Van Brussel Featured in Vogue and Australian Retail Outlook 2026

Adelaide Arcade retailer Van Brussel continues to make waves on the national fashion stage, recently earning recognition in both Vogue Australia and the Australian Retail Outlook 2026.

Founded by Adelaide designer Rachel Van Brussel, the slow fashion label has built a loyal following for its considered approach to fashion, producing limited-run collections made in Australia using natural fibres and designer dead-stock fabrics.

Most recently, Van Brussel was featured in Vogue Australia’s coverage of Australian Fashion Week, showcasing the brand’s distinctive aesthetic alongside some of the country’s most exciting emerging designers.

Adding to this momentum, Van Brussel was also named one of Australia’s “three up-and-coming online retailers to have on your radar” in Australian Retail Outlook 2026, a national publication produced by Inside Retail and KPMG. The feature highlights the brand’s commitment to slow fashion, local manufacturing and thoughtful design, describing Van Brussel as “one of Australia’s most compelling e-commerce brands.” It also recognises the Adelaide Arcade store as an important extension of the brand’s growing online presence.

Rachel launched Van Brussel with a vision to create clothing that values craftsmanship, transparency and longevity over trends and mass production. Every collection is produced in limited quantities, ensuring each garment is thoughtfully made and uniquely special.

Visitors to Adelaide Arcade can explore Van Brussel’s latest collection in Shop 42, where the brand’s carefully curated retail space offers customers the opportunity to experience the garments, fabrics and craftsmanship firsthand.

We congratulate Rachel and the Van Brussel team on these well-deserved achievements and look forward to following their continued success.
