ADL Fashion Week (AFW) will take over Adelaide and Gay’s arcades with three official Associated Events bringing the best of fashion and style to shoppers across the October celebration.
From Friday, October 20 to Sunday, October 22, Kennedy Parker, Finding Nina Vintage and Have You Met Charlie? are in the program with varied events showcasing clothing, shoes, and accessories. These events will sell out fast, so make sure you secure your tickets now.
Kennedy Parker Men’s Shoes
Men’s shoe specialist Kennedy Parker will host Shoes, Booze, and Style for the Boys on Saturday, 21 October, from 7pm to 10pm, a fashion event in the store that will spill out into Gay’s Arcade.
Neighbouring businesses will assist in festivities, with the event featuring Americana snacks from Two-Bit Villains, live barbering from Slick Lobster, and a runway program including men’s fashion from Finding Nina Vintage and Terry Gasson Tailor.
The fashion show will also feature menswear from Mr. Choon and Oscar Hunt, paired with tunes by DJ Troy J Been. Guests will be treated to Imperial Measures gin and a special gin distilling presentation from Dan Wall.

Finding Nina Vintage
Finding Nina Vintage’s event Marche de la Mode will discuss all things for the change of season on Sunday, 22 October, from 10am to 1pm in Gay’s Arcade.
Presenting a vision of Parisian mornings with croissants from neighbouring patisserie Cielo, flowers, music and style, shoppers are invited to explore Finding Nina’s spring collection with a glass of sparkling in hand.
Attendees will also be treated to an exclusive talk from upcycling designer and editorial stylist Lucia Zabla on how to blend vintage pieces into the modern wardrobe.

Mintcloud x Have You Met Charlie Earring Workshop
The 90-minute Mintcloud x Have You Met Charlie Earring Workshop will bring out the fun in fashion, where you can master the art of assembling as many pairs of earrings as you like.
Laser-cut canvases will be transformed into funky, stylish earrings in this one-of-a-kind experience to resonate with individuals’ tastes and imagination
Two sessions will be available. One on Saturday, 21 October, at 10am and one on Sunday, 22 October, at 10am. Your ticket includes a $10 Mintcloud voucher.

Other experiences in the arcade across AFW include a fitting booth activation from Alexandra Lingerie, the latter to offer complimentary fittings on Saturday, 21 October, at Adelaide Arcade’s Rundle Mall entrance. Vintage and haberdashery store A Rare Notion will be a stop on the AFW Associated Event Exploring Slow Fashion on Friday, 20 October and Saturday, 21 October, a walking tour delving into ethical fashion, its history, and the varied ways people can shop sustainably.
On Friday, 20 October, bespoke local jeweller Gerard McCabe will host a Pink Diamond Party displaying rare Argyle pink diamonds, where clients can purchase ready-to-wear designs.
Sneak an exclusive preview of jewellery by iconic Italian designer Fope at this ‘Sip & See’ event at Aurum Jewels. On Friday, 20 October, between 10am – 8pm, visit the store and peruse the newest collection from this international jewellery brand as you sip on complimentary bubbles. You’ll also be able to view a couture dress installation by celebrated local designer Couture + Love + Madness.
Orchard Bookshop will have a fashion book display in-store during ADL Fashion Week to inspire readers and fashionistas alike.
