Pink Shorts Press publishes fiercely readable, socially conscious, and delightfully offbeat books. We also run Wordshops – practical, welcoming workshops designed to help anyone get better at using words, whether you’re writing, editing, or just trying to be understood.

Loudly independent and proudly South Australian, we work on Kaurna Yerta. Pink Shorts Press is the creative partnership of Margot Lloyd and Emily Hart – two word nerds with over 20 years of experience in storytelling, publishing, and the written word.

We’re serious about editorial excellence, collaboration, and producing work that lasts. Our values – sustainability, generosity, transparency, and inclusivity – are the foundations of everything we do. We’re here to build community, spark ideas, and have a few laughs along the way (often without coffee – yes, really).
